BWS Distributors was formed in 1962 by Ted Barton, Forrest Wright and Thurman Sneed as a construction materials company, supplying the construction industry in Northern California.
In 1970, under the direction of President/CEO Robert Ted Barton Sr., we respond to a growing need by becoming a full-line and service industrial safety supply store and equipment supplier.
BWS Today
Under direction of Robert Ted Barton Jr., BWS continues to be a full-line and service supplier.
With the help of local safety managers as well as employees that utilize our products, we continue to expand and update our PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) offerings. In doing so, we can continue to best serve our customers with the best and latest products in today’s industry.
With knowledge and certifications, BWS is able to provide training and expertise in gas detection and SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus). We specialize in gas detection and breathing apparatus, as well as maintain a complete repair facility for the instruments and self-contained breathing apparatus which we distribute.
While we at BWS primarily serve California, we provide equipment and training throughout the United States.
